Class full? Get pinged the moment a seat opens.

A Chrome extension that watches the sections you want and texts, calls or emails you when one opens. You enroll yourself, in seconds.

How it works

1

Add the extension

Install it in Chrome and sign in with your email. No FSU password, ever.

2

Pick your sections

Enter the course and the class numbers you want, like MAS 3105, class 4582.

3

Stay signed in to Student Central

About every 5 minutes, the extension checks the class search in your own Chrome, the same page you'd check by hand.

4

Get pinged, then enroll

When a section goes from Closed to Open, you get a notification plus a text, call or email. You enroll yourself.

Your computer needs to be on with Chrome open for checks to run. If your Student Central sign-in expires, the extension pauses and asks you to sign in again.

FAQ

Do you need my FSU username or password?

No, and we'll never ask. The extension runs inside your own Chrome, where you're already signed in to Student Central. Our server never sees your password, cookies or session.

What does the extension send to your server?

Only when a seat opens: the class number, section, course and term, plus your account token so we know who to alert. Nothing about your schedule, grades or account.

Will it enroll me automatically?

No. It only tells you a seat is open. You enroll yourself in Student Central.

Why doesn't it work right when registration opens?

On purpose. The first hours of registration should be equal for everyone, so alerts switch on at 10:00 AM Eastern on the first day of registration for each term.

Does my computer need to be on?

Yes. Checks run in your Chrome, so your computer needs to be awake with Chrome open. Alerts then reach your phone by text or call.

Is this allowed?

Yes. Florida State University approved the service. You check your own classes with your own account, the same way you would by hand.

Can I get a refund?

If it didn't work for you, email us within 7 days of buying for a full refund.

Is this an FSU service?

No. SeatPing is independent and not affiliated with Florida State University.
