The short version
- We never ask for, see, store or transmit your FSU username, password, cookies or session.
- Seat checks run inside your own Chrome. Results stay in your browser, except when a seat opens, plus a short status report so we can warn you if checking stops.
- We don't sell your data or use it for ads.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, and a sign-in token stored in the extension.
- Alert settings: your mobile number (if you add one), which alert types you want, and when you agreed to texts and calls.
- Watched classes: the term, course (e.g. MAS 3105) and class numbers you choose to watch.
- Open-seat events: when a watched seat opens, the extension sends the class number, section, course and term. We keep a record of alerts we sent, to prevent duplicates and abuse.
- Check status: after each check, the extension tells us that it ran, whether it succeeded or you're signed out of Student Central, and which of your class numbers it couldn't find. We use this to warn you by email or phone when checking stops or a class number looks wrong.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status and amount, never your card number.
What we don't collect
Your FSU credentials, cookies or session; your schedule, grades, holds or other Student Central data; your browsing history. The extension only reads the class-search results page it opens itself, and only each watched section's Open/Closed status.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run the product: Stripe (payments), Twilio (texts and calls), our email provider, and our hosting provider. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
Account data until you delete your account. Alert records for up to 12 months. Payment records as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
Turn off any alert type at any time. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Delete your account from the extension or by emailing us; we delete your data within 30 days, except payment records we must keep.
